Japan looked very convincing to bring maximum points when they managed to beat Germany. Okuhara Nozomi, who was the 2017 World Champions, defeated Ann-Kathrin Spoeri in a row, 21-7, 21-8.

Uber Cup – China beat Australia

He Bing Jiao managed to bring home the victory by beating Australia.  Louisa Ma dari Australia also lost 21-6, 21-6.

China won the match in a tie and had to play two more matches, which determined the overall standing.

Thomas Cup – South Korea Level Up

The men’s doubles from South Korea, Kang Minhyuk and Seo Seungjae, were able to breathe and relief when they faced Thailand. In details, Chaloempon Charoenkitamorn and Nanthakarn Yordphaisong lost in the second match.

The host could not rest over the ability of South Korea to lead the second match. So, this match was declared a draw 22-20, 21-15.

Uber Cup – Japan and China are on the Verge of Victory

China are just one win away from winning their opening games against Australia.

Zhang Shu Xian and Zheng Yu brought two points to defend their tittle after beating Joyce Choong and Angela Yu 21-12, 21-12.

Same with two-time World Champions Matsumoto and Nagahara Wakana who managed to win after defeating Linda Efler and Emma Moszcznski of Germany 21-22, 21-12.

Japan 2-0 Germany

Thomas Cup – Thailand Beat South Korean

Thailand recently found their luck as they managed to win the group stage against South Korean.

Kunlavut Vitidsarn beat Heo Kwanghee 21-12, 21-6. However, Kang Minhyuk and Seo Seungjae continued to give hope to South Korea to stay afloat and possibly win.

The scores achieved were also very close, 22-20

Tie: South Korea 0-1 Thailand

Uber Cup – The Olympic Champion Takes China to the Top

Chen Yu Fei managed to get his victory on the first day by defeating the Australian representative Wendy Chen.

The gold medalist took just 37 minutes to finish the match, almost unhindered 21-19, 21-10.

Uber Cup – Excellence of Japan

Yamaguchi Akane convinced Japan to win their campaign in their opening match against Germany’s Yvone Li.

The defending World Champion took 36 minutes to get the winning score, namely 21-17, 21-19.

Uber Cup – PV Sindhu Awards One Point for India

Two-time Olympic Champion PV Sindhu has started the ideal opening to beat Canada.

The 2019 World Champion beat Michelle Li 21-17, 21-10 in a match that lasted only 33 minutes
