BWF Uber Cup Finals 2022 Draw Results: China in tough Group B
16 of the best women’s teams in the world now know their groups after the draw for the 29th edition of the Uber Cup was made in Bangkok on April 1.
What to expect in the Uber Cup finals 2022?
Ahead of the upcoming tournament that will be held from May 8-15, the top four teams go their separate ways, with holders China given the toughest assignments on Group B. The 15-time champions are drawn with cross-strait rivals Chinese Taipei, along with Spain and Australia.
Six-time Uber Cup winners Japan are on Group A alongside Indonesia, France, and Germany.
Meanwhile, the host nation was given a relatively easy route on Group C, where they will join Denmark, Malaysia, and Egypt. This quartet have yet to win the Uber Cup even once, as they combined for four runner-up finishes.
Group D features 2010 champions South Korea as well as the return of the United States, which last appeared six years ago in China. India and Canada round up their group.
