Praveen Jordan and Melati Daeva Oktavianti Player Profile
Praveen Jordan and Melati Daeva Oktavianti are a world top ten Indonesian mixed doubles pair who recently teamed up and found immediate success together. Despite that, they have been teammates at PB Djarum since 2008.
Jordan and Oktavianti won two BWF World Tour titles in 2019, earning them the distinction of Most Improved Player of the Year at the 2019 BWF Awards. Their most recent championship is 2020 All England Open, defeating the Thai duo of Dechapol Puavaranukroh and Sapsiree Taerattanachai in the final.
Interestingly, these two couples are building quite a rivalry as they met two more times for the crown. However, it was Puavaranukroh and Taerattanachai who prevailed, copping the Yonex Thailand Open in January 2021 and the 2021 Hylo Open.
Prior to this partnership, Jordan reaped success with Debby Susanto, attaining two BWF Superseries first-place trophies and a BWF Grand gold medal. Meanwhile, Oktavianti had two BWF Grand Prix titles and a BWF International Series championship with Ronald Alexander.
